When I have the front battery disconnected I still have voltages which are supposed to come from the engine battery. How am I getting some from the rear battery? There is basically no current since it will not run anything.

Senior Member
First thing to check is the Isolator wiring. Some have too low a reverse
bias and will let enough voltage return to show up on a volt meter. Not much
current flow though.
