I'm not sure how much it holds including the preheat, but mine took a little over 4 gallons without them, once you include the burp tank filled to the Cold mark. It'd be on the safe side to get 5 gallons of pre-mix or 3 gallons of undiluted antifreeze. I tend to run a little above 50% in mine to compensate for topping off with distilled water on occasion. Distilled water from "Wally World" is pretty cheap & since it's a freshly cleaned radiator I didn't want to tempt fate by adding tap water this time out.
