Hi all,

I'm still doing my bedroom renovation, and will be installing a new water pump, Shurflo 4008. OEM water pump is mounted with the intake about 4" from the bottom of the tank. I want to mount the new pump higher, because I'm going to do a lifting bed platform, and want to more easily access the pump when I lift the bed up. Question is, can I mount the new pump with the intake say 12" off the floor, without worrying about it not being able to get a prime and lift that high on the suction side?
