Until now I have just been calling it *The Beast*, but I don't think that's very respectful of the GMC.
Here is a link to the decoration on the side;

Based on that, I'm open to suggestions. Go ahead, give me your best. Or whatever your fevered minds can cook up.
Fun Time!

Mitch,
In my world (water) the name given is chosen as carefully as a child's. (Like think about how someone can murder it.) With my boats, I have always asked them what they would like to be called. (If any creation of man has a soul, it is a vessel under sail.) Has the coach shown any obvious character? At most make suggestions and listen. When you get it right, you will know.
This has worked for me this many years, give it a try.
That was how we ended up with Chaumie're (no French characters). I'm sure it was my imagination, but we were underway on our very first excursion when Mary said the name, and the response was immediate. I though she had said "Show Me Air", but she went on to say it was a French word for a cottage. She (the coach) knew her name and now we did - too.

The decal relates to the GMCs history, so I like the idea of keeping it.

It would be easier to remove that decal which has nothing to do with a motorhome.
Start from there.

How about "Deliverance" ? It will deliver you there, but there is always
something sinister in the back of our mind such as, "Is that whining noise

I always liked coaches with clever names AND I have been listening... I must be deaf. Nothing comes up.
Maybe I should start drinking again... My motorcycles always talked to me then!
At first when we got our 1973 26 foot Painted Desert, it was "The Motorhome." Then we got our 1978 Birchaven. So we had "The Big One" and "The Birch." Then I bought another Birchaven... a 1977. Wife doesn't understand me when I say "77" or "78." So we have been calling them "One," "Two" and "Three."
Not very original but it works...

In the 80s I bought a sailboat-a Cal 25. She had been raced a lot and had a name to reflect that. I don't even remember it.
After a few months she became *Moonlight Dancer* and it fit her beutifully.
This GMC seems to have a masculine side, and I've been waiting for it to emerge. I guess I'll just have to wait.
Meantime I thought I would give you guys a chance to ponder something silly.
