Today I changed insurance agents. When he found out what I had the coach insured for, and what it was, he said to get an updated appraisal. He knows how much money I have in it and it is way over the 07 appraisal. I got in touch with Jim K. and told him to be ready to update mine at Patterson. He has a form on his website we can download and get ahead of the game. Sometimes he does a lot of these at conventions. I know because I work the table while he is off loafing and visiting with the owners getting appraisals. Anyway, if you have a 3 yr old, or older, appraisal and you are insured with Progressive, you might want to check and see if you need an update. Jim said he will also be at Bean Station.

Dan,
This is one service I feel is really benificial to anyone that has
more than a 2k value unit.
I ge calls from those that had the appraisal done and insured with that value.
Also thos wishing they had it done as the insurance company have it
evaluated for 2-5k .

Progressive agreed to set the value of
"The Money Pit" at 10k when I bought it
a year ago. The set of new tires I put
on increased its value by about 12%!

When I get more improvements done I will
probably need to go higher, but that is
in the future.

Mac, I doubt that they will go much higher than that without an appraisal. They would not go above 15,500 on mine without one, but the clause read," 15.5, or the market value". I paid for an appraisal. This is Progressive and I realize your experience may be different than mine. They really do not care about your receipts either, ask Jim G.
Some need an appraisal and some don't. Depends on how much you have thrown into you 40 yr. old coach. I could retire again with the money I have spent on our's. If it burns, I might just do that.
If I used it locally only we would never have spent what we have on it and I would have liability only. We use our's like a second home.

Well, this morning I went back to my new agent, at his request. He moved my cars to Progressive with my GMC and scooter. Saved me 100 bux a year. Not an advertizement, just a happy GMCer.
Now, I got more money for gas to get us to Patterson in 2 weeks. If you have not sent your form and money in, hurry. We want to see everyone in the "gator tour".
