Guys (& gals).
I love rallies and learning new stuff but this past weekend's Sunshine Statesmen Rally was for me out of this world. Seminars, bench racing and such is fine. .....but running that GMC down the quarter mile made me feel like I was 16 again. For a few hours afterwards I gave JimB a hard time about "how" he beat me.
After all he built my engine and even timed it for me before our race. It couldn't have been the driver. Right? This experience (with some great folks) was about the best fun you can have and still have your HANES on you. The folks are GMCers so you know they're great. Sign me up for next year.
On the ZDDP issue. ....I listened long and hard to what Joe Mondello had to say at two Dixielander rallies last year and I do follow his advice. He isn't DR. Olds for nothing and besides he's been doing this professionally longer than I've been alive (or something to that effect).
