I seem to remember a guy or a company that would re-build the GMC CV joints,

Can't find a reference on this site but I was wondering if anyone remembers him or has used him and what was your opinion of the work.

I just want to re-build these CV joints to use as spares not as as a primary part.

Tom,

There is Constant Velocity of Ocala.

http://www.cvaxles.com/rebuild_and_return.htm

However, if you look in their catalog you probably won't find the CV joints
for the GMC Motorhome. As I understand that is because they have an
agreement with the COOP and Applied GMC to supply them to them exclusively.

I have a pair that I got from Jim K of Applied GMC and the quality was fine.

Regards,

IIRC that company was one that JimB used. The rebuilder did not want to deal directly with customers thus go through JimB, and I would suspect also JimK and perhaps other shops.
