Here in the north country, spring is upon us (Finally).
The Tin Can Tourist gathering at Camp Dearborn (Milford, MI) is coming up in late May. Last year's had some interesting points, but was not nearly as fun as it might have been. Part of that was the lack of other GMCs. There was one other in the flesh and another couple that came in their SOB (the name has slipped). We were down about 118 and a pretty much ignored by the "Light Night" judges, but otherwise, not a bad location.
The historical and technical presentations were pretty good, but not nearly as enjoyable as GMCES was at Elkhart the prior fall. It was fun to see all the old stuff - Airstreams, Spartans and Scotties. There were also some rare (two Revcons - one was a square nose), some very rare (like like a Ultravan) and some commercial one of a kinds. Some were restored and others seriously redone. This year (as usual) there will be a judged Vintage Concourse with separate classes for trailers and motorcoaches.
Cost: 110$/2 people/3 days + site of 25$/day. (Site reservation has to be made directly with Camp Dearborn). The feeds are OK and the entertainment was all right. (The Chili Cook-off was not very well managed, it was impossible to get around in the tent.)

Pick - Gatherings, Scroll Down to 14th Annual
This year, Great Lakers will not have an overlapping rally (they are the weekend before). Last year I made the mistake and we did TCT instead of GL because we thought we would get to other GL events. (We only sort of got to Evart, and that was it.)
We are currently planning to get there, but there are some strange circumstances in our life just now and I make no promises to anyone about anything. Richard Waters (the guy that puts in an engine and trans and then drives the coach 500 miles to the GMCMI rally) and I are working on plans to attend. (He only inhabits the GMC-EFI group.)
Let me know if you think you might make it or would like to discuss the event in more detail.

I can't make it to the spring TCT rally but I'll be at the fall one (23-25 Sept at Camp Dearborn). I may not be a member of the rally though...I might be camping up on the hill with another group to which I also belong.
Gary Mills might be there with me in his '74 Painted Desert.
I'll have my '75 Palm Beach.
