that is my next project but as a kit car.

these can use a Honda CX500 or Moto Guzzi engine/tranny/final drive. you can also use a Harley or S&S engine with a Mazda MX5 tranny. about 400 of these have been sold as kits and they have a USA distributor. there is an active builders forum too. the power to weight ratio makes these a rapid machine and a whole lot cheaper than the 48K for the Morgan.

And it probably doesn't have a wood frame.

Can't be passing on Morgan's traditional workmanship.
Couldn't tell from the pictures, does it still have the *sliding pillars* front suspension?

Looked at the pre-production photo again, and I'm seeing double A-arms with a coil over shock. I guess after 100 years it was time to make a suspension change.
