Just came across some nice Spinflow cook-tops for sale on Ebay. Item #270718288069. If any one is redoing their kitchen area you may be interested in grabbing one right away as these will probably go REAL fast at the price he is asking for them.

(* Note...I have no personal interests in the sale whatsoever.)

Just bought one for myself and thought I would pass on the info on a possibly great deal. When I priced these units last year they were in the range of close to $400! Hopefully he will ship it right away and I will have it in few days. I will give an update about it when it arrives.

Looks like the seller ended it this afternoon. Perhaps he realized he way under priced them. Ordered mine right away. Now I'm hoping he doesn't try to back out of the sale. Confused

I managed to order one before he pulled the ad - just got UPS confirmation that it's on the way, so we'll see...thank you for the heads up on this.

The seller thinks he may be getting more. It looks like he sold 4 on Ebay and probably the rest some other way.

Hi Paul -

I did receive mine - looks really nice! I think $99 was quite a bargain. I probably won't have it installed in the new countertop for a couple months - so many other big things to do first.

What do you think of yours? I just noticed you posted there was no manual in yours - there's a user/installation pamphlet with mine. If you like, I'll scan and email it to you...

Yea -got mine, looks great. Will most likely be putting it in in a few days. Glad someone else was able to jump on this sale as well.
If you could Email a copy of that that manual that would be awesome. I can't seem to find the info on the net anywhere.
Did you get a cutout temp-let with yours in the the manual?
That was missing from mine as well but I probably wont need it anyways. I'll just trace the glass top on some cardboard and add the appropriate distance to the outline.

When I get it in I'll post some pics on the photo site if I manage not to blow myself and the coach up. Rolling Eyes

Sorry for the delay - here is a link to the scans of the instructions.

No full-size template, but detailed dimensions should help with your install. Good luck and keep us posted on how it goes!

Thanks for posting that info. Finished installing it today.....pic's posted on the photo site. Cam out real nice.Did you get the edge seal with yours that is described in the instruction manual? I did not, but found a workaround for it. I also had to make my own brackets as the ones supplied did not work with my counter top.

Wow! That's Nice!

Wonder if SHE'd ever lift the lid if SHE had one like that? Probably not.
:-(

After 52 years of cooking for me, and still doing it twice a day at home, I
guess SHE deserves to NOT cook on the road. :-)

Same here, Tom. What a heckuva big improvement!
I sure would like to get one for my coach. I'd
like to ditch the original stove/oven combo and
put a microwave oven below the counter. The
handle on the oven is broken anyway and we have
never used the oven in out travel trailer and
only used the oven in our boat once or twice in
11 years.

I agree Mac. The cook top surface is flaking away. I did remove the oven
door cleaned and glass beaded it. Then I gave it several coats of black
epoxy appliance paint. That looks good. Just not sure about the cook top.
I also was looking at the microwaves that have a browning element - a
simple resistance loop similar to the broiler loop on an electric oven.
Once that oven is removed - there go the apple pies and biscuits...

I know you can get two & three burner cook top for around $100-$125 or so.
Add another $150 for the browning type microwave and your off and cooking.

Paul,
You got a very good price on this cooktop. I have a friend who
purchased a 3 burner Dometic cooktop like this and the original retail
price was $650, he found it in Elkhart a salvage yard for $60, they
had only one.

I purchased a Dometic two burner model like this with the help of Rob
Muller our Aussy in Australia and yes it was expensive, but it was
what the wife wanted. The Dometic models like this are not sold as
of yet in the US and are available only in Europe and the Far East.
