As I get closer to my departure date this Saturday, I'm checking the weather along the way and it seems that there is snow along my route from the Portland area to Texas. My route takes me through Boisie, Salt Lake and Albuquerquie. Can anyone out that way give me an update. I understand that chains are required but don't want to buy a set if I don't need them. My local tire store has to order the right size for my 16 inch wheels so buying them on the road if I need them is not an option. Nor do the tire stores refund your money if you don't use them, anymore.
