looks great.
I now have 2 very nice GMC seats that are in the way, the PO had them
recovered in a carmel brown color nagahyde, and paid big bucks for it.

Mine are maroon cloth and just as free too.

I think I'll mount one to a swivel chair base for a nice office chair.

Dang. If only I lived closer to Indy than I do. Would cost me about $200 in gas RT to get them from you. Although that $200 is cheaper than some of the seats we’ve been looking at. You don’t ever happen to be “passing through” Virginia, do you? 😉

I have a set of Flexsteel seats I replaced with Honda Odessey seat. They are kind of a red/maroon color and in great shape -- no rips, tears or much wear. I'd give them to you, if you could pick the up.

e-mail me and I can send pictures.

If he can convey them to somebody in IN going to Bean Station, you could pick them up there.

Great point. (Not sure how my reply got over to this thread)

Actually there are a couple of people in our GMC Group down at Bean Station right now. Not sure if they have room to haul back 2 big seats though.

I had a 98 Astro that the trans died after 310,000 miles. Those seats were very comfortable. No rips, and looked great. And I like cloth seats. Had the big pouch for maps. Both left, and right arm rest. Back of the seat tilted back, and was a power seat. Scrubbed them up with Tide. Then rinsed the seat with my power washer. My thought was that If the seat held up to the power washer. They were good to go. And one good socking. couldn't wreck it. Dried for 2 days in the sun. Then got two 15" pieces of rectangle aluminum tubing to raise to proper height. As a note. Some years only have one arm rest. Find a power base. Then put a good back seat on that base. Single seats are all the same.Bob Dunahugh 78 Mouse House

Good morning GMC owners. I just bought a 1975 GMC Avion and I have it in the paint shop in Denver. I would like to upgrade the mirrors. Any suggestions or mirrors for sale or where to find some good condition used mirrors would be appreciated. The mirrors will be painted to match the body!

One suggestion,
do not tighten the swivel mount too tight.
We find that when a contact is made against anything solid, it need to
give, or face ripping the base mount.
