I hate to see a company like that go under, and I sure don't want to overplay what shape they may be in--like Dave says, they have been around a long time so far. I have noticed the publications are just a shadow of what they were a few years ago.

As often happens when companies run into trouble, the solvent parts will be rescued and the insolvent will be cut loose. I wouldn't expect the entire empire to collapse. That being said, it's such a closed door operation (and this is coming from someone who works in the finance industry), it's very difficult to determine whether "Good Sam" or "Camping World" pieces are the good or the bad. That's mostly a function of it being a private company with only limited debt issues. As far as their bond ratings go, I've seen worse. I'm not sure I'd be overly concerned about imminent bankruptcy from the limited information available and the previously linked thread was a discussion from October of 2009. Clearly the company has survived past what was being discussed at that time.
I will state that I only took a cursory look at the available information and have not even tried to do anything in depth.

When a publication's subscriber base contracts,
so do the advertisers and the publication must
shrink in step with those other things if there
is to be any chance whatsoever of survival.
How many local or even big-time newspapers have
gone under and what is the comparative size of
the survivors?
