I just got off the phone with Richard. The first person who looked at the
GMC bought it. He told me the individual's name, but I've forgotten it. I
didn't really try to remember it because the individual is from Gainesville,
FL, and in contact with Frank Jenkins. Frank will introduce him to the
community.

Richard, after our discussion, probably lasting an hour, says he's sorry
he's sold his GMC. But knows where there's another one been idle for a long
time -- maybe he'll be back. :-)

He also gave me the name of another GMC owner in S. GA who has a 76 Eleganza
for sale. I called him and had a good conversation. He says he paid
$30,000 for it in FL about 6 years ago. It had a fuel injection system with
a manual mixture control which he was not taught to use and wound up running
too lean until the engine froze up. After a $7500 engine overhaul by a
local racing engine shop, he's driven it 1500-2000 miles. He says it's in
"Good not Excellent" condition, including Blue/Silver/Burgundy paint.
Alcoas with 5 year old tires. Onan runs good with new control board. 2
a/c, the forward one "newer". Asking $9000. He's supposed to send me
photos.

Contact me off-net if you want contact info.
