Something I found very interesting. John is working to get the intake manifold on. He takes his feeler gauge out and checked clearances between the Rockwell and the heads. "Perfect" was his words.

Dan, mine was open .0015 at the right rear corner (cylinder 8) at the bottom
of the port.

Heads do not line up 100% with the block so there will be differance.
It is surprising to know how sloppy thing can be on a engine assembly.
