[GMCnet] What's up for March 17-20? [message #115763] |

The answer is --
Rally & Reunion for GMC Eastern States at
River Vista Mountain Village.
Eastern States members have received notice about the rally via the
newsletter. For the rally we're facilitating a reunion for former members;
especially charter members.
Charter members who aren't current members have received a letter from Dave
Greenberg inviting them to attend or send information updating us as to
their whereabouts, etc.
More info is at http://www.gmceast.com/rally/spring2011.html. From there you
can follow read Dave's letter, check out the proposed schedule, get a
registration form, take a look at the trailer Saturday night's movie, or see
who's registered.
If interested in making a big time away, check out Ken Henderson's letter
posted at http://www.gmceast.com/ regarding the caravan into FMCA at Perry
or on from Perry to Dillard.
River Vista Mountain Village is a great facility for a rally. And, as it so
happens, the wine growers in the area are having their annual Spring Wine
Highway Weekend starting Friday and continuing through Sunday. There will be
time to get away for a taste or two on Friday afternoon. Or, if you really
don't want a sip, there will be time to swim in the heated indoor pool or
swap stories with friends.

Crystal and I can't wait to be there. We had a blast at last year's GMCES. For those who can't get to international because it's too far west, or too long (us poor working stiffs!), GMCES is a great alternative with the mainly Friday-Saturday schedule. Of course I managed to convince my wife to show up Thurs this year, so we can't wait to have the full experience.
David Greenberg -- despite living all of 50 miles apart for a few years in FL, maybe we can finally have that in-person meeting since I see you on the attendance list.
