Coach does not run. Ham previous owner removed his five radios but did not secure the hot wires. Fire on left side of engine, under drivers seat burned wires, hoses, distributor etc. Dash cover is mostly gone, remining is a handful of broken pieces.
Original 16 1/2 inch steels with full chrome covers. Paint scheme looks nice, but not in great shape. Side wet bath. Interior stripped but all there. Dinette removed for two fold out couches that make a kingsize bed.

Did this Coach sell???
And if so - does anyone know how much???
When I add up all that I have put in ours and what is left to do
I thinks it might be better to sell it for little and buy something
Like this one. Maybe I would end up with two coaches like many others.
One for my wife and one for me.
Oh the temptation.
Last week I tore the old furnace - Sol Aire out and had a Suburban
installed.
Just before driving away I went through starting it up and running it to
find
That it wouldn't hold a flame. The installer pulled out the circuit board
checked it
Out but no change, he then pulled out the whole unit and played with it for
1/2 hr.
Still couldn't get the flame to stay on. I asked - "do you have another in
stock"?
They did. I insisted they check it out before installing. It checked out
OK and was installed.
IN their hurry they did not secure the ducting well - leakage in the
cabinets. So I will
Fix this. The disappointing thing was - he gave me a quote of between 600
and 700US greenbacks.
At the end he handed me a bill of $905.00. I questioned him about the
difference - he said he
Had underestimated the cost of the unit. (duh! He has them in stock so
should know the price.
Bad optics!!

Well, for starters it is a Factory Built twin bed/dry bath model Kingsley.
The exterior paint design looks like Golby or Clasco but other clues say
maybe not.
It has been in ID, AZ, NV & IL. The seller is not the owner as listed in the
Registry.
This is the one I was asking about.
Is it still available??

I might be getting old or something, but I seem to remember this coach (or one VERY similar) located in Mundelein Il (or a very close suburb) being up for sale a year or two ago. Don't quite remember where I saw it for sale - perhaps on Ebay also, but I'm not sure.
Wonder if it's the same one. Mundelein, Il to just a short distance from me...If I get a chance, I'll run up & look at it. In the meantime, tomorrow I'll run the registration and see who it's registered to.

I was hoping somebody in that area would check it out. The seller said he can confirm the mileage from receipts. I looked at several in Fl. this past winter & none of them lived up to the sellers descriptions. Stopped on the way home to check on one, very nice original exterior, brand new interior, very high priced. The double frame behind the boagies was opening up from rust. I don't know what's acceptable for this. Maybe a few owners could take pics. of their frames & us wannabes would know what to look for.
Nobody has bid for it yet.
Thank you

This was just re-listed on the 11th of April. Marshfield is just up the road from where I live in Springfield, MO. I believe I have looked at the coach before. If so, it was for sale about 3 or 4 years ago just north of Springfield. Looks like this person may have got it and started a renovation because it appears that the ceiling has been torn out. I'm currently in Paterson, but could look at it sometime next week if you are still interested. If it is the same as the one I previously looked at, IIRC the interior had been redone but had aged and worn considerably and was in need of attention. Probably what this guy was starting.
Just let me know!

Interesting what you say about the ceiling because it doesn't show in any of the current pics. BTW it's in Mundelein IL., not Marshfield.

No, actually I replied to a msg from Joan in February about the coach in MO on Craigslist
http://springfield.craigslist.org/rvs/2319286233.html
Then David replied in April with info on the coach on eBay in Il. And most of the thread is about this $14,500 coach.
Until Randy in Mo read from the top of the thread and offered to go check out the engined fire burned coach near him in MO.
Actually Randy if you could look at this coach it would be helpful. Pictures inside look bad. But maybe it is mostly just the headliner. Question is how much does it need to be able to run?

This is a confusing thread as it started out being about the coach in Marshfield for $3900. Just another example about how the e-mail version of the net and the forum does not always work together properly. Norm, I apologize for not understanding that the thread had changed to some other coach.
Don, I could go look as it is not far from me. Will have to wait until I return from Paterson - sometime late next week.
