Article about the new track in F1 Magazine. The track is due to be finished in 2012. While they haven't announced a date yet, Hellemund was hinting at late summer or early fall. The Canadian GP is mid June of this year, with a two week spacing until the next race in Spain. That would be tight but there have been other races run a week apart.
The last F1 in the States was Indianapolis several years ago.
The track is expected to have several interesting sections including a quick uphill at the end of the front straight. Should be very interesting.

Just wondered how many would recognize Walt's boy and the world famous maker of the "gmcers' label in another genre; so, really GMC related, not just pushing f1. Ken H & Bdub got it. But, then again, they don't miss much.
You all ought to have the www.gmcers.org decal on your back window.
