Hi Billy,

I recently blew the engine on my GMC II and had the engine and transmission rebuilt here in Albuquerque. I was referred to Jack Hodges at Hodges Automotive and I had such excellent service that I felt that other members should know if they ever need repairs in New Mexico.

Jack Hodges runs a very tidy operation and used a local company Knighton's Automotive to do the actual engine rebuilding under Jack's direction. Knighton's has considerable experience with GMC's and acquired many parts and equipment from the local GMC dealer that closed some years ago.

Jack was very responsive to any suggestions that I made by way of articles from various GMC publications and even made several lengthy phone calls to Jim Bounds, Jim Kanomata and others, seeking advice on the latest ideas.

The following are the details for Hodges Automotive:

Jack Hodges
Hodges Automotive

Albuquerque, NM 87123
Phone 505 292-7698

Regards,

Peter
