Can anybody provide me with the part number, and / or dimensional info for the original rear airbag? I may have come across a few but not sure that they are correct.
Lurking here for a while now and find the list to be very helpful, but a bit scary too as we purchased our coach in the fall and have yet to set out on any major adventures.
Meanwhile doing our best to mitigate any potential issues as best we can!

I have 2 numbers.
Replacement #699406
Ref. #708502
These are from the GMC parts book.
You may need the Firestone part number also.

I am looking for an airbag - to match the Firestone WO1358 7325 (4 bagger
system)
Available in stock in the Vancouver BC Area.
I have tried - Freightliner, Mac Truck - (part 57QK1113), Scott Spring,
Canada Spring, CS Parts, Lordco
KMS Autoparts and so far nothing.

Dwayne,

I have Cc'd Gordon Seykora on this reply, he lives in Nanaimo and he might
be able to help you.

He can't respond on the GMCnet as he was banned.

G'day,

I only provided Gordon's name as a possible contact for a source for the
Firestone bag used on the Harrison Four Bag system IN CANADA NOT the OEM
Firestone bag.

PLEASE do not bother him with queries regarding the OEM bags!

The ONLY company that has any of the OEM single bags left is:

Cinnabar Engineering
116 Orval Street
Sandusky, MI 48471
United States of America
Tel: +1 (800) 720-2227
Email: stevenrourke@earthlink.net

Last time I checked the OEM bags were $750.00 each

I'm still debating between going quadrabag or the single cone-single bag replacements from Southland.

There's a decent gap in price, but how different is the actual ride and performance?

DC

...I'd love to know more details on how Larry C found the old bags. I like the stock system fine but my bags are tired.

Desmond,
There is enough differance between the Q Bag and any single bag.
If you want the same as before, then go with the single unit.
I would be glad to supply you the Silverton Mono bag and let you run
it for a month then the Q Bag.
After another month you feel the that the Q Bag is not worth it, we
will swap it for you no charge.
Desmond, the Silverton Mono bag is noting new, it was used many years ago.
I can suppply it for $795 for the set.

Hi Jim,

Thanks for reading my message. I probably just need to drive a coach that has a quadrabag setup and see how it feels. It's really impossible to tell any difference since I've never driven anything other than the stock kit. Driving German's Transmode (I still can't believe it hasn't sold yet) with those headers on it told me I have to put that on my list.

What I do know, is that I pretty much have to re-do a lot of the air bag system at the same time. There's just schrader valves on my bags now.

I'll be in touch soon.

Thanks again.

Desmond,
It was about 5 years ago when I told Jim Bounds that he was full of
bull about a 4 bag.
He said that he knew what I was saying and told me that the only way
would appreciate the unit would be for me to put one one my coach.
Few years later I am convinced that he was totally correct.
Anyone running a standard bag is missing a great handling option

DC, I have the quadrabag. But, for 795, for both Silvertons, that is a tempting deal, if you still have the original bags. I like the Quadrabags and got them feeling I was safer with them. What I found out was they seem to be more stable and hold the rearend straighter, not allowing it to wag the front of the coach. Still, 795 is a heck of a deal if you like the original bags.
