Hey All;

Just wanted to let any Newbies out there that sometimes get the
misconception that these GMC things are unreliable (only because we
talk about the broken things alot) that Diana and I and the three Jack
Russel Terriers finally got home last night after a relatively pain
free 1 month trip to Quartzsite, AZ and back. The motorhome only
blinked once with a fire over the driver's side muffler that was
quickly put out by multiple applications of a windshield squeege in
the Flying-J gas station on the Grapevine. Easy fix with an oil drip
pan from AutoZone and 6 screws, washers, and nuts. I also had a bad
ground connection of the batteries (should listen to GeneF more) which
didn't allow any of the batteries to charge to full, but cleaning up
the connections did wonders (thanks to Doug Norton for the help with
this). Used a case of 40wt oil during the 3400mi trip. None of this
kept me from going anywhere, and ate up very little time. Anyway, get
out there and drive them. I'm doing my best.
