To my Packers friends: Congratulations. It was a tremendous game and
Greenbay made the best of the turnovers.

To my Steelers friends: Congratulations. It was a tremendous game and the
Steelers made it into an exciting game.

Tom,

I know. I'm practicing for running for the city council. I want to get a
ordinance changed about parking a motorhome longer than 21 feet in your own
backyard if you put a privacy fence around it. I have a neighbor who is
acting like a cyst on the posterior sphincter muscle of humanity.

Now, about those Giants: Didn't they move 50 years ago? Or am I thinking of
the Oakland Traitors?

Byron

Byron,

I think that was the baseball Giants that became the Traitors.

The local ordinance around here - typical 3/4 - 1 acre lot subdivision homes
is that any boats, trailers, campers and motor homes must be a minimum of
25' behind the back of the house and not readily visible from the street.
Not usually enforced. My GMC is about 30 feet behind the house, my 3/4 +/-
acre rear yard is surrounded by a 6' gate and privacy fence. You can see
the top 6"s of the rear of the coach if you are looking up the driveway.

I miss my 40' x 44' clear span building with 12' ceiling...But I don't miss
the snow, taxes etc. in NJ. lol!

I assume that you are a member of FMCA. Contact them. They can be a big help in fighting those ordinances.

A great weekend was had here in Chico.

Lots of talk and a little bit of work on a warm clear weekend;
thanks to all.

One of our locals also picked up the Most Valuable Player
award while winning the Super Bowl.

Not bad!

We had a great trip. Thanks Richard!

I had road wander going up there on new tires until I arrived and someone finally told me that I was running my tires 20 pounds higher than everyone else! I'd had no trouble with the old tires on it and since they were filled with nitrogen, I didn't want to mess with them. I should have checked them out more as they were being taken off the coach. Felt a little mushy right after going down to 60psi but it handles great again and didn't take too long to get used to. Still learning the coach one thing at a time.

Had a great dinner and bought a couple of bottles of Gales' wine on the Friday night.

Saturday, really enjoyed seeing some nice coaches. Got a chance to see, first hand, Gary's wireless air system. Installing that looks like a better option than trying to rebuild my stock system. I got a good look at what goes into the auxiliary vacuum pump and I'll put that on my list. Doesn't look too tough after you get the wires sorted out. ...Saw what happens when someone has a hot test lead lying around near a chrome bumper.

Finally got to put the Paterson distributor in the coach but I could have SWORN someone said they had a timing light before I started that job. I'm getting better and better at timing these by feel now. Took a couple of freeway exits, but I must be close because it ran better than ever and my mileage for the next 166 came out to 11MPG. We'll see if it stays there.

Dinner on Saturday was a nice buffet and I was proud to load up my coach with GMC friends to show off the new disco lights in there.

My in-laws are in Chico, so we didn't stay on site and on Sunday I showed up just in time to see the Barrow's at the stop light, but Wevers' didn't make it past the Sierra-Nevada parking lot! It must have been too much for Bill to be camped in the shadow of the place for so long... You can get some great stuff in their company store.

The trip home was a breeze. We stopped at a truck stop cafe for lunch and to catch at least the beginning of the Super Bowl. We might make that a tradition since the crowd was pretty random and very enthusiastic. While there I decided to weigh the coach. 11,620 lbs with a half full LPG, half full H2O, and empty Black tank. I don't have the slip in hand but I think it was about 4000 forward and 7000 rear.

Great meeting everyone. See you in Gilroy!

Desmond

Great report

was good to see you and family at the rally.
I really liked your LED mounting and I got a really bad picture of the LEDs
mounted under the lip of the cabinet

http://goo.gl/MgDiE

Looking at the other coaches is always a great part of these rallys.. It
was very busy (for me) and the side trip to the wrecking yard , was a hit
also

I will post what I saw at the NORCAL soon

Went to take a nap yesterday as it was raining, woke up to white stuff

Roger,

Actually, I just flew back to Memphis this evening. I have been in NJ for a
week. The area I was visiting - according to the National Weather Service
has received 60.1 inches of snow this season - compared to 40.3 for Green
Bay, Wisconsin!!!

Snow here is all but gone. Supposed to get a dose tomorrow sometime - 2-6"
depending on who you listen to!
