We pulled out of Q this morning at 9 am and rolled into Bakersfield this afternoon before dark. I met Randy and his wife from Springfield, Mo, in their GMC just north of Quartzsite. I assume they were leaving also.
I love flying down those Tehachipi mountains. Like a free carnival ride.
