Here is an interesting input from Graham Ellis, Hereford, UK regarding
his propane installation.

I converted the Eleganza to run on LPG (dual fuel) using an Impco system
back in 1994, with excellent results. Finding somewhere to put the tanks
was a problem, and the only time I found reason to criticise the GMC
design team -- they just did too good a job utilising the available
space! I eventually opted to convert the rear side-facing seats/bed into
a permanent bed, with two 70 litre tanks installed below -- a perfect fit
(and ventilated of course). As the original fitment LPG tank had a
threaded boss with blanking plug at the upper front end, I was able to
utilise this to fit a dip tube for liquid take-off. This tank now has a
secondary use as an auxiliary motor-fuel tank, operated by the existing
rocker switch on the dashboard when in LPG mode, via an LPG solenoid
wired in parallel to the gasoline solenoid (which thus operates normally
when in gasoline mode). This 3-tank arrangement gives a range of around
300 miles
