I am still on this hot water heater issue. So the original water
heater does anyone remember what water line goes to which connection
on the tank. There is one line from the cold water knob on the
bathroom sink and has a line from the fresh water tank tee'd into it.
The other line comes from the hot water knob on the sink. Which one
goes to the top of the tank and which one goes to the bottom
attachment? Not sure if anyone knows off hand or if anyone has
plumbing diagram for the 1976 Palm beach. Again thanks for any help.

The cold input line always goes to the bottom of the tank and the hot water output always comes out of the topmost fitting.
