We wanted something to camp in this summer an I did not want any pressure to finish the revcon.

We needed a little trailer that could be pulled with the Chrysler minivan.

I found a 72 Scotty Hilander on craigslist for $600.

Unlike the other stick and staple junk out there, these have a cult following that will hopefully allow me to get my money back when i get rid of it.

Add a Thetford recirc toilet and you can double your blackwater holding tank
quantity.

Are you kiding?

No nice add-ons for this beast. I will repaint the outside white and aqua, per the original, use it for a season and send it on its way.

Might add a Walmart porta-potti.

There are two places to sell it.
Tin Can Tourists
Serro Scotty

both have a web presence.

Not the cult following of Airstream.

You could always keep it as a mother-in-law apartment and tow it behind your Revcon

Since you used the word orphan, i can't resist.

Not everything I bring home is ugly.

Take a look at this guy:

http://www.davesilva.com/?p=141

I had to go a long way to get him, and he takes a big chunk of time away from working on the revcon, and I may be too old, but he sure is beautiful.

I think that's a very valid excuse for slow progress on the Revcon. I've got my own 15 month old little girl who is my excuse for not having a whole of projects done on the GMC...

Not kidding. It adds 7 gallons to your blackwater capacity.

I hava a recirculating toilet in my GMC. There was one in it when I got it and I had to get a new one about 10 years ago. They work great on dry camping and in effect it gives more than 7 gallons extra since there is no water used in flushing.

Thanks,

It wasn't that hard to get that shot, doesn't everybody have studio lights with umbrellas in their living room?

It took four separate attempts to get the Christmas Card photo.

I'm actually a technical photographer for the Coast Guard.
