Dan,
I read on your blog you were thinking of a power-down low-voltage/timer to prevent dead batteries on your car.

I designed and sell these to my two-way radio customers to prevent dead batteries when the radio is left on.

Depending on the ambient temperature it cuts off at 11.5V or higher in the winter or 4 hrs of engine off. Is that what you are looking for? It has a microcontroller so I can program it to do whatever is needed.

I believe the relay is 30Amp.

I also put one on the house battery that is voltage only and rated at 100amp to save the house batteries from deep discharge damage.
