When I first bought my 1973 the closet door was delaminating. I removed the
door by going past the 90 degree mark(23' floor plan 3). When I
re-laminated it I did not use screws nor did I peel the whole laminate off.
I used clamps and construction adhesive. It was fine for about 8
mos.--until all this wet weather and I will be removing it this evening to
do it again! Like the other guy said "PITA"!
This time I will screw the frame and use contact cement. I hope I will not
be rewriting this again in 8 mos.
