Getting closer to biting the bullet and getting a new set of tires. Current Michelin LTX M/S are now 8 yrs old. Still lots of tread and only minimal sidewall cracking, but I've been persuaded by previous threads that it's time to replace.
I remember some stories about people buying "new" tires only to discover from the date code that they were already a year or more old.
So the question is, when I go to the tire dealer, what would be reasonable to demand as to age? 1 mo? 3 mo?
Thanks
