Just so you know, the Schumacher charger doesn't have a sulfation setting & it barely talks about it in the ads, but the microprocessor in it determines what kind of charge the battery needs and adjusts accordingly. Setting it to max amps only tells the microprocessor the maximum amps to use; It decides for itself how many to put in. It will also turn itself off when done & turn back on when the battery discharges, so it can be left on full-time if needed.
It does desulfate, but only if it determines it's needed. It will indicate it on the face.It can take days to do, but when it decides it's desulfated enough, it will switch to charge. Read the manual thoroughly.
I've been running it hard since I got it & absolutely no complaints. I hooked it to a battery I've had for years sitting in the carport that showed barely any voltage at all & ran it for 24 hours until it indicated charged. I put it back on a few days later & it read 75% charge. I fully charged it & hooked it to a radio to discharge it a bit then recharged it. It fully charged in 2 hours & works great. No trouble starting a car with it, but your results may vary. It didn't fix another battery I have, but I found it had a dead cell, so it won't raise the dead...
I have it hooked to the start battery of the coach now and have for a few weeks. Whenever I go check it, it shows full charge and has the proper voltage on my volt meter, so it must be doing what it's supposed to. On this basis I highly recommend it. They sell 2 of higher amp rating but I haven't tried them. They should be as good.
