My first post: "...it seems like everything works" I was looking at the glass half full! haha!

Hi everyone! Just picked up this 1977 GMC kingsley. I grabbed this for very CHEAP. I'm not sure the true value of this motorhome...any ideas? Bad advertising + uneducated seller = great deal for ME! Only 29,000 miles, interior in great condition with rear twin beds, full bath with shower stall; It's been sitting for a few years but it seems everything works, new tires and batteries but just some minor issues to work through. The Vin sequence is # 100001 which I'm assuming means it was the first 1977 produced. I bought it and put it straight into storage last week. I will be driving it 150 miles to bring it home to Vallejo next week... any advice for the first trip home? Thanks guys!

Okay so for anyone that has followed any of my posts over the past year knows I only paid $3000, but also that I had more than "minor issues". After $1300 in "get it home" repairs then the "minor" started: First of all it needed a New engine, new sewage tank, fresh water pump, new brakes all around, new shocks, and all those other small things associated with an engine overhaul. Then came "the list" New Alcoas and BFG Comm T/A's, repaint the bathroom, and a whole load of ther $hit that has been repressed from my memory but not my bank account. But guess what? I could not be HAPPIER! Laughing
