Good Morning

Does anyone have the link to the information on how to install the gas struts to
the rear generator & propane doors? I know I've seen it and have searched with
no luck.

Thanks.

Ray

Do be sure to reinforce the mounting points on the door, as you can easily crack the fiberglass and hinge mountings.

I used two gas springs in mine, but one would probably work just fine as the doors are not heavy.

I think Jim B put together a kit with the correct parts for the upgrade.

A few days ago someone posted that http://rvpartsnow.com/ is owned by a GMC
owner. At that time, I visited the site and a featured item was a very
reasonably priced kit of door struts & hardware. Visiting there now, I
don't see it, but if I were in the market, I'd contact them.

They mfr about 100 new design units. I was fortunate enough to see the 789
with Gary Worobec at the SEMA convention 2 yrs ago. All were sold prior to
mfr and they went for approx $140K. Very small cars and they look smaller
than the Corvette chassis they were built on.

This company is owned by Fred Kanter of Kanter Auto Products in New Jersey.
Fred was a friend and neighbor of mine when I lived in NJ. I also worked
for him for a while in between jobs. Fred and his brother, Dan, also own
Packard Industries in Boonton, NJ, and PST Performance Suspension
Technologies manufactures/suppliers for poly graphite suspension bushings,
mounts etc..

If I hunt long enough I'll find some of the original info on the car. The
N2A company has been written up in several car related magazines.
