I followed the instructions and the 2X4 stands worked great. I used only
four and had no problems.
Thanks

I don't know what year coach he has but I think that problem Only existed with the 73 motorhomes.
My 77 has been jacked up many times over the 29 years that I have owned it and there has never been a problem with jacking up one side of the front.
The frame is so rigid that when jacking up one side of the front, both front wheels will actually come off the ground.

Gary,
It is not that I don't believe you, but I would like to know what you did. (So I can avoid doing it.) Remember, the local GMC dealer bent Frank Sargent's (used to own Thetford) brand new coach so the door would not close (and more).
I have jacked one front wheel clear of the ground several different occasions. I usually jack in the center of the front crossmember.
I have new windshields, but that is because they fielded a softball size stone that came out from under a lumber truck that pulled out right in front of me and got the coach almost dead on the mullion.

I jacked the left front of the '76 X-PB until the tire was almost off
of the ground. The rear moved as the air bags allowed. For some
reason I left it in that position for about a week. The right
windshield cracked in an arc from 2/3 right of the center divider to
1/2 way up the side divider.
