Yup, way too much. A brand new complete pair of powered, heated velvacs with wiring and controls
is only $350 delivered:

However, if you put them on a gmc, you'll have to make wedge bases like Ray did here:

I used black ABS since it's cheap and readily available. Huge improvement over the OEM mirrors,
but Ragusa mirrors would be easier since they just bolt on.
