I just installed the Greasers on Huckleberry and I pumped new grease to each fitting until I could hear and see grease coming out of the joints except the Drivers Rear. I could get just enough grease in it to fill the new Greaser and then the pressure required to pump was so great I thought the hose on the gun would rupture.
Must I now remove the Pin and find whatever is causing the blockage or should I just continue applying pressure with the grease gun?

Richard did you clean out the old grease before installing the
new greasers? Some peiole use a large straw for this. Others
have found they needed to drill out the old. Old grease could
be stopping the new grease from getting thjrough the pin. Did
you move the arms up and dpwn while trying to put grease in?
Some times that helps. I doubt you will rupture the gun hose
before it will disengage from the grease zerk. Did you check
the grease fiting to be sure it was not stpopped up before
assembly? I have seen bad Zerks that did not permit flow. I would
remove greaser and check its function.
Charles

Thanks Charles, yes, I used the straw method to remove the existing grease which was by they way good, very clean, and soft in all of the pins.
The new zerks are ok also, I was able to pump quite a bit of grease into them before the one got real hard to pump.

Gene, I read that article the other day when you posted it for someone else.
I had no difficulty removing the old grease with straws, also had no apparent burrs, my problem is I believe, a blockage in the back of the rear bogie pin.
I will attempt to free it up using a piece of wire tomorrow.

Hal, I intend to put the Coach on the Lift today, that way I will be able to lift the wheels and see what I am doing.
It is cold here though, 38 on our back porch, will wait till it warms up a bit. Should get up to 70 by afternoon.
