Well, if that is too expensive, you can get a real coach starting at $1100 on ebay, item # 160514391293

Jay,

First off all for those of you have read the response to the question in the
auction; "Rob" is not me! ;-)

I saw one of these awhile back on eBay and was gob smacked at the price they
were asking - $400. I did some research and evidently if it was a genuine
one issued by Hot Wheels it was "worth" $400.

Having said that I would be surprised if it would be "worth" that much to
one of "us" as "we" are by far too cheap! ;-)

I also found out that there were copies out there that weren't worth $4.00
let alone $400!

Regards,
Rob M.

These gold HWs were first offered in 1977 as a GMC special for $4.95. In the late 1980s I did see one sell on ebay for over $800. I sold an extra one I had at DuQuoin to a fellow GMCer for a small fraction of that, similar to the full size GMC versions, values have tumbled. I must admit though, my gold GMC has cost me much less in upkeep over the past several years than the full size one :^)
