Am at a library in Universal City. We arrived friday. Cooked TG over a carcoal grill in 30 mph winds and low 40's. We went in and out of the same coldfront 5 times. So fun. Since friday we've riden the wing over 1500 miles. And thats having to wait untill noon when it warms up. Caddys runnin ok but still leans out right before the secondarys open. Am going to install 74's and lower the rods. Have 73's in there now with the rods a little high. Celibrated our 32nd annaversary yesterday down on the riverwalk. Nice steak. Good sceanery for rideing the MC. Well,,,,wish us luck,,,(only seen one other GMC parked),,,PL

Make it another 60 miles west and spend a night or two at the Buckhorn Lake
RV resort. GREAT Mexican restaurant in Kerrville just 4 miles away (wxit
501). Nice bike ride into Fredricksburg from there. German food and
hospitality plus the Chester Nimitz Pacific museum. You won't regret it.

Paul,

I second Steve's note about heading over to Fredericksburg and the museum
and I wasn't in the Navy! ;-)

If you decide to try the German food go for the Sauerbraten with potato
balls and red cabbage. It's a REAL German meal!

Don't know about the Tex-Mex restaurant in Kerrville, however, if you make
it Houston try Ninfa's on the ship channel. I ga-ron-tee you will love the
Tacos el Carbon!
