Hi,
Finally got the money together to have an RV port installed.
I'm very pleased with it. Two guys came up from Salem OR --269 miles from Ellensburg! They arrived at 6:45am and it was 10 degrees when they started working! Finished in about 5 hours.
The RV port is 31 ft long, by 12 ft wide, by 12 ft high. (Twelve feet high is a little overkill, but then when/if I sell this place, someone with a bigger RV can use it).

It has a roof, enclosed back & 3 ft sides from the top along both sides. It is 12 gauge. Seems pretty sturdy.
Price included delivery & installation. Here's a link to the factory: http://westcoastmetalbuildingsinc.com. Very happy with this purchase. I had been storing the RV in the winter in a couple of different places. This is right in my yard!

I put one up years ago. Maybe 2003. Got a note on my door in 2008 that
I needed a permit to do it! I was a bit surprised.

At least that's how it is here in Eugene. Maybe Ellensburg isn't the
same. Either way, wait until they tell you. :^)

Just for fun, how much $$ did it set you back?

Did you have a concrete pad, or is it on grass?

Here we need a permit just for the temporary fabric ones!

BTW edit your post to remove the period at the end of "com" or add a space there, so the link will work.

But Eugene will provide a homeless person living in an old travel trailer parked on a public street with a porta potty and a garbage can and service them both...

It cost me $ 3200 delivered & installed. I had an asphalt pad installed a couple of years ago, and that's where it sits.

Re the permit, the local dealer I bought it from said the different inspectors here had different ideaS about permits. Theoretically it's a "portable" UNIT.

Add flip up wheels. A friend of mine in San Diego went through the same BS
with the city and he beat the process by adding wheels with locks.

Here is some info on how to build your own "portable" GMC Barn"
http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/showgallery.php?cat=3227

this worked well and we have built several versions of this unit.

Here is a link to some excellent examples of how to modify an existing
building to become a GMC Barn

It is not too bad, GOPHERIT
