Hi guys,

I just bought my old GMC back.  I have seen some coaches with Honda
leather seats.  Does anyone know where I can buy them?

Thanks,

Gary Rockwell

Gary,

I just got 2 tan seats from these guys in MN off ebay. They run $200
for the pair and there are perfect. You might be able to drive up and
pick them up and save the shipping.

Hey Gary, welcome back. Got your intake and have seen the other new parts Jim has. Looking good. Hope to see you at some of the gatherings.
I don't know anything about the seats though.

Check out craigslist in Phoenix under seats. The guy plasters the board with ads.

I would look for the cloth ones, though. Leather looks nice, but I spoke with a GMCer here who said the blue dye off his jeans would rub off and stain the leather. I doubt it's real high quality leather in a Honda minivan, but the price is certainly right. And all the installation instructions can be found here on the net.

Randy,

Hate to say it but I'd say the problem was with the GMCer's jeans not the
Honda leather seats!

Sounds like the dye was not colorfast - ask your wife about that! ;-)

Rob is right! It not the seats it's the dye used in the jeans. I
have had similar problems when wearing new jeans. With most jeans
being made offshore and that includes the hight priced jeans too the
dye will rub off on leather, vinyl and other materials, it doesn't
matter. After they are washed a number of time and faded a little bit
they wont bleed.
