There must be someone out there who has the carefree
and we want to make sure we attach it to the right
area on the GMC.
The exact spot on the roof?
The exact spot on the side of the GMC?
Know the wider ones are carefree but there are
no pictures showing exactly where it attaches
on the roof and no real close ups of the spot on
the side of the GMC
so how does it connect to the shorter arm?
Need to put it on while it is mild as no heat in
storage area.
I looked at the Bethune sale spot and some say
Zip Dee and others say nothing - so are the nothing
ones the carefree???
Any pictures would be greatly appreciated
First post a few days ago
Just purchased an older carefree awning with the
arms and brackets and '77 Eleganza had never had
an awning before.
Does anyone by chance have any pictures of exactly
where the arm brackets should be positioned on the GMC?
Please email me directly with pictures if you do
Thanks in advance

Just how old is the awning? any idea? What length is it?
My '76 has a Carefree on it, probably dates back to the '80s.
As soon as the weather allows, I'll shoot some pictures, and send them, perhaps they will help.
