Hi Ray,
The Vacuum Modulator I replaced ,where the Vacuum hose hooks up, had a small
hole., like it was made with a Sewing Needle..feeding the input to the
Modulator.
I don't remember seeing that on the New Modulator,if that were the case .you
could use a nonrestricted Hose.

Just curious, if the modulator is working correctly based on engine vacuum,
why
does the steel line need a restriction ??
I was told by an extremely competent source that the steel line could be
replaced with a hose.
