To try to streamline the look of my coach, I would like to remove the ladder and roof railings. What is the best way to seal the attachment holes? I imagine the easiest it to simply put in sheet metal screws with some type of sealer (or o rings?), but I would like to know if a filler of some sort would work, and certainly look better when it's time to repaint the coach. I saw a commercial for alum-alloy, but don't know if that's a good idea (or would the heat simply catch the underlying insulation on fire?).

Thanks for any advice.
