John,
Our grease comes in a pouch, and made by Sta lub, not CRC.

Speaking only from my own experience, I have used Amsoil Synthetic Multi-Purpose Grease, Extreme Pressure, NLGI #2 (GLC) for over 200,000 miles on my coach. Been re-packing the bearings on a 25-30,000 mile schedule and have not had a problem.
