G'day,

I just bought a couple of these to take back to Aus with me for The Blue
Streak.

http://www.appliedgmc.com/prod.itml/icOid/602

I opened the hoods on Double Trouble and for the life of me I can't figure
out where to screw them to the top of the headlight housings!

Anybody install a couple and take pictures?

Thanks,
Rob M.

Rob, I don't know what the headlight housing has to do with this. I installed mine where the original battery tray was located, using the original mounting brackets. These brackets also support the air tank in our 74 GMC.

Rob,
There is space above the head light housing, but the oil bottles will
be hitting the doors.
Noticed that we have erred in putting a wrong price, all the Ragusa
parts are sold at same price as they do. It should be $12, not 14.
We owe you $2 credit.

Erv, you must have used the battery tray. These things are only about 4" x 10".

G'day,

Turns out John Sharpe has one of these mounted in his GMC on the Passenger
side. He positioned it so that bottles of oil don't hit the doors by not
using the holes that Ragusa puts in them, he drilled his own.

We then went over to the drivers side and figured out how to mount one there
for other "stuff."

I bought four of them so you owe me $8.00 - DON'T LEAVE TOWN! ;-)

Regards,
Rob M.

Yep, John, you are right. I didn't look at the picture very closely.

Now I will go back to my room...
