The one owner 1977 Palm Beach coach at the Arlington, TX
Cars for Kids Auction when for $3,275.00 This coach was
still pretty much all original. Furnace, Refrigerator, Toilet,
carpet and upholstery.Tires are 16.5 and date coded
026 and 025. There was considerable water damage
through out the coach. The upholstery on the seat buttons were
all coming off and the ceiling material was sagging in places.
A couple light fixtures were on the floor with the vent fan
for the stove top. The 455 engine started right up and the coach
was moved back and forward prior to the start of bidding.
This vehicle probably drew more lookers than anything
else on the lot. A couple of us went by yesterday and during
the 30 minutes we were there at least 15 others came to
look at this coach. This coach is a TX coach and had no
signs of frame rust anywhere. The bidding jumped rapidly
, $1,000, $2,000, $2,500 600,700,800, 900, $3,000 then
to increments of 50 and 25. All bidders knew their limits so
it went really fast.
Charles
