Jack,
As Ken and others have mentioned, we make skid/slide blocks for the rear of
the GMC. We prefer them to the wheel as they don't announce to everyone in
the vicinity that you are dragging the back end.
They bolt on and work really nice. And are easy to change out if you ever
wear them out.
We were really glad we had them on when we were towed to Van Horn, TX after
losing a rear wheel bearing. Lasted after being dragged for over 10 miles.
Let us know if you would like us to send you a set for your approval.
Or are you coming to the GMC 49ers rally next weekend (Nov 12 - 14) in
Alameda? If so, we could bring a set there.
