G'day,
This motorhome popped up again on Aus E-bay Item No 280584157342.
I met the original owner of this when he was trying to sell it out-side a motorhome rally in 2003.
He at first denied all knowledge of it being a GMC. When I came back the next day with Gail, to show her, when nobody was around he told me a bit about it. He admitted it was a GMC base, he had the body lengthened and straightened for more room. So not really a 2000 model.
The Caddy motor runs on Gas (LPG)with a big tank under the lounge.
It turned out he was after wheel bearings- must be a GMC!

And with a starting price of AU$ 105,000
it just might take awhile to sell!
I did look at the other pics and it has
been converted to right-hand drive. That
MUST be an expensive proposition!

Mac,
The PO of The Blue Streak told me it cost him $12,500 for the conversion
plus another $2500 in engineering fees.

From the small photos it looks nicely done -- thanks for sharing.
Sometimes we (USA) don't think about the other cost factors that go into owning a vehicle in other countries. Inspections, conversions, fuel, insurance, etc.
