A great resource for our coaches would be the
"Boatowner's Illustrated Handbook of Wiring"
by Charlie Wing. A good source for this book
would be West Marine. I imagine it could also
be found through Amazon.com at maybe an even
cheaper price. I paid $25 for mine at the
now defunct Boater's World store in Tulsa, OK.

Don't let the title mislead you. Both boat
and RV wiring are remarkably similar, if not
identical.

One really interesting thing is that the new
standard for DC wiring is that YELOW is now
being recommended for use for the negative
lead to avoid using BLACK, the color used
for HOT in AC wiring.

Do you know what the difference is between an RV (Recreational vehicle) and a boat (Recreational Vessel)?

Water will leak out of an RV (coach). This about it.

One is a hole in the water which will hold all the money you have, the other has wheels. Laughing
