Now that I have added a trio of gauges to the dashboard I'm a bit puzzled by the pipe threads. The new senders have a 1/8'' 27 NPT, what size do the adapters have to be for the oil and temp sender? Before I drain the coolant, does the 'christmas tree' have the same thread as the temp sender on the left of the thermostat housing?

Thanks in advance,

Roel

Looking at my spare 455 I see 1/8 NPT on the oil pressure switch and 1/2 NPT on all intake manifold water sensor bosses.

Thanks for the reply Wally, sounds allright then, will check the oil pressure sender first tonight, hope it fits...just a bit worried about the threads per inch as in Europe this is different.

Roel I missed the thread count part of your question and your location. Here is what american national taper pipe thread is supposed to be.
1/8 npt 27 threads per inch
1/2 npt 14 threads per inch
