Hi everyone,

I'm looking for ideas for a center console for the flight deck. I'm a
GMRS and ham operator and I want to put some radio and navigation gear
in. Ultimately, I'd like to be able to turn the console to face either
seat since there's no other good position for a radio desk in the 26-3
layout. Also, this coach has a raised center in the engine hatch for
the full-height intake manifold below, so I'll need to deal with that, too.

I'd like to see what others have done.

Desmond's GMC.

I am currently designing two different center consoles for the flight deck.
The first one is a basic console, cup holders, storage tray, side pouches
etc. Also will have a door facing the back of the coach. Top will support
a laptop.

The second one is still early in the design phase - but I am also a ham and
am trying to incorporate room for a dual bander and GMRS station equipment.
I would appreciate it if you would keep me in the loop. Currently I am the
one building the original style gun and fishing cabinets for the rear of the
coach. They are a,most an exact copy except they are made using furniture
grade hard woods and furniture grade oak plywood and trim. Even found
original style overhead hinges.

Thanks and good luck,
